PGF2/SITE ENHANCEMENT OIL EXPERIMENT
By Hawker

So there’s been some hubbub about the effects of using PGF2 and Site Enhancement Oil (SEO) together. Having forseen that “global logistical issues” would likely effect the start date of my next cycle I thought this would be a productive way to fill the gap.

I talked about it with Jason (who has been my online trainer since May 2000) and did some more research into PGF2. We both decided that this sounded like something worth trying. So, I bought 6 bottles of SEO and 4 bottles of PGF2 – I stocked up since I am non-US resident.

The whole premise for the PGF2/SEO experiment is outlined in the following article by Trevor Smith of Nuclear Nutrition.

http://www.nuclearnutrition.com/articles/05-06-00/PGF2&siteoil.html

If you are too lazy to read the article, the basic premise is that since PGF2 causes swelling in the muscle, if you inject SEO in to the same muscle that should give the oil more space to occupy

Injection Schedule

Jason and I developed the following daily injection outline for the first week:

Delts – 3 ml each
Triceps – 3 ml each
Biceps – 3 ml each
Calves – 1.5 ml into each head
Traps – 1.5 ml into each side (I added this on my own for the hell of it)

Additionally, I alternated putting 1 ml of PGF2 with the injections between my triceps and biceps (because this was the focus of the whole thing).

The other PGF2 injections were with insulin needles every 3 hours – or as often as possible.

I began all this on Sunday, January 7.

PGF2 Side Effects

I would do all the injections at one time, leaving the tricep or bicep with the PGF2 until the end. After my first PGF2/SEO shot, my chest tightened up, my stomach felt queasy and I started getting a lot of phlegm in my throat. Sweat just ran off my head like rain. But it was bearable and I just sat down and waited about an hour for things to subside.

A few PGF2 injections later, I decided to try putting 1 ml of PGF2 into both my biceps and triceps at once – 4 ml of PGF2. Now this one was a mistake. Again, I started having the phlegm, chest tightening and sweating. But then all the sudden, I had to take a shit – this was expected. OK, but while I was shitting, I also had to throw up at the same time. This was a lot of fun to clean up.

It was also about this time (about 4 hours after the SEO injections) that I really started feeling the pain of the SEO and damn did it hurt -- like a shot of propionate all over your body.

After this shitting/hurling exercise I decided that I would just stick to rotating the 1ml injections of PGF2 between my biceps and triceps every other day.

Trying to Workout

I did quads and calves on Monday, Jan 8. Squats were fine, but then the hack squat – that was a nightmare. With my calves filled with SEO, I couldn’t get my form right and ended up doing half the weight I normally do. It was embarrassing.

Then I tried doing calves on the stand up machine – I usually use all the weight and add extra for 15-20 reps. NOPE. Initially I could only muster 30. I barely got up to 70. It was all bad.
.

I Can’t Move

On Tuesday and Wednesday the pain of the SEO was unbearable. It took everything in me to just to walk, much less climb stairs. I was a complete mess. I could hardly work, I couldn’t workout – I just felt like shit. To those at work, I chalked up the soreness to having taken 3 weeks off. Both nights I went home and just laid in bed – not sleeping, just laying. I couldn’t really sleep – I was in too much pain from the SEO. It was as if someone had severely kicked my ass on both days.

This was also the time when I gave up injecting into my traps – my arms were too sore to reach over.

I persevered with the original injection schedule until Thursday, Jan 11. That’s when I got home from work, thinking I would be ready to get back to the gym that evening. I took a shot of PGF2 in my biceps and got the normal side effects. Then it happened. About 30 min after the first shot, my stomach felt strange. I went to the sink. I ended up throwing up an entire days worth of food. Now I am a guy that has severe troubles trying to down all this clean shit that Jason has me eating to keep my weight at 290. So when I throw up anything, I get pissed off. I have never thrown up an entire days worth of food, so I decided it was time to take a break from the PGF2 for a few days.

On Friday, the pain from the SEO has diminished enough so that I could finally get back into the gym. My workout sucked, but it was good to be back.

That weekend, either the 12 or 13th, I measured my arms. They were still 18 inches. HMMM. Something strange was going on. I called up Jason and asked him if I should be worried – he said not to, but I knew something wasn’t right.
.

Second Week Schedule

The injection schedule for the second week was to be as follows:

Day 1

Triceps – 3ml each
Biceps – 3ml each

Day 2 1.5 ml – each calf head
3 ml – each delt

What actually happened is that I injected arms with SEO everyday and alternated the PGF2 between the triceps and biceps. I decided to keep the PGF2 injections at 0.5 ml so the side effects wouldn’t be so evil.

Keeping the calf and delt injections to EOD. But I only kept this up until Wednesday the 17th. I measured my arms again and they were still at 18 inches. I was not amused, something was definitely wrong.
.

Weeks 3-5

So on Wednesday, January 17, I decided to begin injecting 5ml of SEO into each bicep/tricep, alternating injections between biceps and triceps and kept with the PGF2.

While the side effects from the PGF2 weren’t too bad anymore, the stuff was just painful. My arms would start to feel OK, and then I would inject myself again and they would feel like shit for 2 more hours. So finally on Saturday, January 21, I decided to stop the PGF2 and see how the SEO would do by itself.

Over the next few weeks I kept up the injection schedule of alternating SEO 5ml injections between biceps and triceps without the PGF2; however my arms remained stuck at 18 inches. I COULDN’T FUCKING BELIEVE IT. I had dumped the equivalent of about 3 bottles of SEO into my arms and there was no size increase. I mean, by now, I should have been looking like Jake Strauss or Gregg Valentino . . .

Sure, my arms felt like big oil sack of oil, but that was it. I was EXTREMELY PISSED OFF. Luckily it was during this time that I was receiving my materials for my next cycle so that helped offset the frustration I was having with the SEO. I would play with the amps and fondle the tabs until I was in a decent mood again.

Then, suddenly on Feb 4 I measured my arm expecting 18 inches. PRAISE THE LORD AND BABY JESUS!!!! Somehow, someway, my arm had added 0.5 in within the last 2-3 days. Then I started thinking why this would have happened now. There was a thread early on in my experiment in which JonnyO mentioned something about PGF2 lasting 2 weeks. I took no notice as I was expecting good results not this bullshit.

Then it hit me, it was exactly two weeks previous, that I had stopped taking the PGF2. Now that the PGF2 was gone, the SEO could now do its job.

By the end of that week, Friday, Feb 9, my arms measured just over 19 inches. So I really got the benefits of about 1 bottle of SEO into my arms throughout this entire mess and I have about 4 bottles of PGF2 sitting on my counter that I am afraid to use – not because of the side-effects, but because there were no effects.
.

Conclusion

First, the cost:
                    6 bottles of SEO:          $900
                    5 bottles of PGF2:        $375

Finding out that the PGF2 and SEO theory doesn’t work (for me anyway): Priceless

There are some things money cant buy, for everything else. . .  blah blah blah

Bottom line - I would never recommend these two products to be used together. In fact, I would never recommend using PGF2 to anyone. PGF2 is supposed to kill fat cells. If it killed any fat cells, well the difference wasn’t noticeable. Hell, I put myself through agony for this sport but I expect to see some results. The pain/benefit ratio with PGF2 just wasn’t enough to justify using it anymore (any one want to buy 4 bottles of PGF2?)

SEO, on the other hand, works as it should without the PGF2. My arms now measure just over 19 inches (this is a miracle for me) and I have another bottle waiting at home. The stuff works.

Jason and I were hoping that this article would be about the wonderful gains experienced from this combo, unfortunately, that’s not the case here.

I think next time I will let Jason spend his own money first on the next bodybuilding experiment that comes along.
