AE PROFILE: MMX2
by The Blonde Myth

[Editors Note: Many of you are familiar with the names of the moderators on the AE discussion boards, The Extreme Forum and TNT Forum.  The moderators spend their time keeping the boards running smoothly, interjecting thoughts and ideas, and most of all, helping the other board members with any question or concern they might have.  Since our moderators have done such a great job, I thought it was time to give them a moment in the spotlight, so to speak, and perhaps give you a better idea of how they became so damn smart and knowledgeable.  This week begins with the profile of the moderator who’s been around the longest, MMX2.]

Personal Questions

Nickname--  MMX2

Height--5'11"

Weight In Season--Mid 240's

Weight Off Season--265-270

Marital Status—Divorced (because of husband#1-her NOT me), no kids (that I know of) although I was sued for child support for two kids that weren't mine- long story, court trial, paternity test, and the like. No dice.

Goals in Life--At the present time, as it has been since high school, is to own a gym. I have worked in gyms, have my personal training on the side, and worked in health food stores for many years (too many to count). I want a chance to put it all together. To be honest, I am ready for the change now, but as every one knows, insurance and benefits are expensive so I guess I will stick around a year or so longer.

Hobbies Outside Of The Gym-- Travel, WWF, football, reading
.

Bodybuilding Questions

Years Bodybuilding--16 years total

Reason For Getting Into Bodybuilding-- Hmmm, really to lose weight and prove to everyone that a fat kid could indeed transform himself into something totally different.

Goal(s) In Bodybuilding-- Well, I guess that keeps changing year-to-year, month-to-month. For now my short-term goals is to reach 300lbs in my next cycle, then cut down to 270-275, and finally get back to doing a show.

Role Model When Growing Up--To be honest, and I know I will get flamed for it, it was Lyle Alzado. That guy was the baddest MF on the field. I always wanted to walk down the street and do that to people that would make fun of me because I was fat. Hey, how was I supposed to know of his alleged extracurricular activities?

Whose Physique(s) You Admire-- Two. Nasser for a long while now, and Dennis James for some years now. I kind of want to be in between...

Have You Ever Competed in Powerlifting/Bodybuilding? Results?--Miserably yes, yes when I was 19, and was a embarrassing 160lbs. I had the help of a hula dancer, a football buddy who was helping me with the AS side and a guy on my dorm floor that did some shows. I did a 4th and 5th. It was a sobering lesson for someone that thought he was prepared only to find out that I didn't know shit (my trunks rode up my ass and imagine, I have a big ass as it is) which is why I need to redeem myself tens of years later.

If You Could Change One Thing In Your Past, What Would It be? I wish I really knew what I know now back then. We were so limited to the info on diet, and training, and AS pharmacology. It was like the Flintstones compared to now.

Training Questions

Personal Bests-- Squat- 520

Who Influenced Your Way Of Training--When I first got into it, I read from cover to cover. The Keys to the Inner Universe written by Bill Pearl. Wow, so much information in one book. Just a great book and really comprehensive.

Where Do You Train--At a little hardcore gym-5:00am. Kinda of dull, smells a bit, but it’s a great environment to workout in.

Funniest Things You've Seen Training--Someone working out with one of those rubber wrap things around their waist. They were doing a deads and the thing popped off and hit the person in the face. I really tried not to laugh... Was hard though.

What Do You Think About When you Train? If Anything at all--Well at 5:00 am, I’m thinking what the fuck am I doing here? To be honest, I just focus on the exercise, and picture the movement through the entire range of motion. Helps me a lot.

AE/Anabolic Questions

How Did You Find Anabolic Extreme--I found it via link from another board. I had been on some other boards for some time, the old Elite, Meso, UG, but had not really posted all that much just kind of looking and learning and commenting to myself.

Years On Ae-- Since its inception. I liked that what AE was trying to accomplish in a no nonsense manner. It continues to this day and getting better everyday.

AS Experience(years)-- Since I was 19, a pretty mild cycle of test and dbol. No anti-estrogens. Go figure... learned a lot since then.

How many cycles a year do you do--Normally 2 a year. Have to budget really well since each time the cycle get more expensive and more expensive.

What was you last cycle and what did you use ......no volume needed--Simple cycle was test enth and drol and T3.

What’s been your most favorite topic on AE--It has to be the bodybuilding as it relates to religion thread. It got really philosophical and deep, thought we were going to have to create a cult.

Pet Peeves--People that don't bother to research or give any info.  For example, I have 50 dbol, and 6 redi's, and some winny tabs. How many do I have to take to look like the guys in Flex Mag? (that was a true question).

Relationship to the owner Jay Mueller-- I have always respected J for what he has accomplished. He has it all- he succeeded in developing and executing a website that provides some of the best info, via the webzine and forums anywhere on the net and he has a great woman who supports what he has done 100%. And the man is always thinking, doing. Jason asked me to be a monitor not too long after the start of the forums and I am still here. As some people know, I remained anonymous for a pretty long time on this board due to some personal issues that I was going through and some dickheads that we were dealing with at the time. I finally was revealed in an interview with BW and Jason. I have developed great relationships with a few members who have become my friends.
.

FINAL QUESTION:

What’s one piece of advice you would give to a newbie on training, nutrition, or gear?

Study, research, take your time in determining what you really want to do and where you want to go. AE offers a lot of valuable information through the webzine and forums. A lot of people put a lot of work into each issue of the webzine each week providing our members with great issue on topics we talk about every day. If you choose to go the AS route, its important to think everything through and do the best you can naturally (I feel that you should have a sold foundation of at least 2 years before even considering AS) because once you start down that road, its really hard to turn back. Thanks for the time.
