EXTREME
Q&A
by
Jason Meuller
THE
ANDRO SPRAY CHALLENGE
I’m
sure all of you are aware the Ergopharm, manufacturer of Andro
Spray, is a sponsor of Anabolic Extreme.
In a recent discussion with Pat Arnold, I asked why he
wasn’t promoting his product more forcefully, given that it’s
superior to the other brand on the market, and everyone seems to
rave about “the other brand.”
Fortunately, Pat is not the type of individual to go around
comparing his product to significant amounts of real steroids.
Unfortunately, this has hurt his sales, since their seems to
be a large contingent of people reading web pages such as this that
seem all too ready to believe some huckster’s latest line of
bullshit.
So,
what’s an ethical company gonna do?
Sit around and get trampled by the competition because you
won’t stoop to their level? Sure, that’s one choice.
However, there’s another way to go about this. I proposed an idea to Pat that, to his credit, he immediately
jumped all over. Let it
never be said that Pat Arnold isn’t ballsy, because if I were in
his shoes, I don’t know if I would have accepted my proposal.
My
idea is simple. We take
5 subjects and place them on Andro Spray for a period of 4 weeks.
At the end of those 4 weeks, we print the results from all 5
subjects, whether they be good, bad, or indifferent.
We’ll get to see before and after pictures of all 5
subjects, and hear their own words on the effectiveness of the
product. No fudging of
results, no airbrushing pictures.
Basically, a no bullshit test.
The Blonde Myth will be one of our test subjects, and those
of you that know TBM can verify that he’s as straight a shooter as
you’re going to find.
So,
what do I need from you guys? Test subjects!! I’ve
already got 3 people picked out, but I need two more. Here’s my problem. I can’t just use anybody for the test,
they’ve got to meet a few simple criteria.
These
are:
-
All
potential candidates must have been natural for at least a year
prior to the test.
-
All
potential candidates must have been actively weight training at
least a year prior to the test.
-
All
potential candidates must not deviate from their normal weight
training routine or diet during the 4 week period of the test
-
All
potential candidates must provide a “before” picture and an
“after” picture with proof (by holding a dated publication
in their hand) that each was taken immediately before and
immediately after the 4 week test period.
All
5 subjects will have their commentary and pictures appear on the AE
website. Quite frankly,
I’ve never heard of a supplement company going out on a limb like
this, willing to announce a test like this before they know the
results. I think it
speaks well of a man like Pat Arnold that he has enough integrity
that he’s allowing me to conduct such a test using one of his
products. It also tells
me that he must be pretty damn sure it works, cause no one likes to
eat crow. You can
volunteer for the 4-week test by emailing me at Jason@anabolicextreme.com.
Hurry up people, I want to get this thing off the ground as
quickly as possible, and like I said, I’ve only got two slots left
open. I look forward to
hearing from you.
WHAT
KIND OF PROTEIN ON A KETOGENIC DIET?
Question:
First of all, thanks for an absolutely excellent website. I live in
Brazil, and, as you surely know, we have an vast array of drugs
available...through some research, I even managed to get DNP, from
Sigma-Aldrich, but I didn't like it...sweated a lot, felt like shit,
and
lost
no bodyfat at all...to me, the best way to loose bodyfat is modified
ketogenic diets...I feel energetic all day, have a lot of strength
and even gain lean mass, and visibly lose a lot of bodyfat. And, in
the weekends, I eat the goodies I cannot eat during the week...
My
question is simple: I work out first thing in the morning, and my
post workout meal is a protein shake. I eat only whey protein, with
no fat at all...Am I getting off-track by doing this? Should I add
fat to it, to "fit" in the structure of the diet? I'm
wondering this because of the "window of opportunity"
opened after training...the ratio of nutrients during each day is
respected, but I'm still curious...
PS
- Just in case, if you have any questions about the stuff sold in
Brazil, be my guest to ask...
Answer:
I’ve stated this many times before, and I’ll say it again.
Although whey is a great protein, it’s undeserving of the
stellar reputation it’s received in bodybuilding circles.
Why? Quite
simply, it is digested too quickly.
Studies have shown that there are other proteins that are
more effective at building muscle than whey, simply because they are
digested much more slowly in the body.
Whey
has earned the title of King of All Proteins because of its
incredibly high Biological Value of 104.
However, that incredibly high BV doesn’t mean a hill of
beans unless you want to go around consuming whey protein every 90
minutes. And quite
frankly, please don’t move near me if you do, since the amount of
gastric distress you’re going to experience will be enough to puke
a buzzard off a gut wagon.
If
I were in your shoes (and thank God I’m not, I can’t stand
ketogenic diets!) I’d
be adding two things to my post-workout shake.
Number one is casein. Although
casein only has a BV of 77, it’s been proven to be more effective
than whey in building muscle tissue, simply because it has a slower
rate of absorption. Number
two is MCT’s. Adding
a tablespoon of MCT oil to your post workout shake will further slow
the rate at which these proteins are absorbed, and allow you to
fully take advantage of your nutritional window of opportunity.
Now
about those Brazilian items….
THAT
HORRIBLE NFL PLAYER….AGAIN!
Question:
I really appreciated the information you provided for me about
Winstrol. I picked it up the day you e-mailed me back.
Thanks to your quick response, I didn't take it, which saved
me from a positive drug test, and possibly losing my job in the NFL.
Thanks for taking your time to help me.
I have decided to take your instruction and go with
suspension. I was a
little confused on how long to take it before being tested.
I am currently taking 1.5 cc's of 100 every other day.
I expect to be drug tested around the first or second week in
March. If I understood
you correctly, I can stay on this dose until the end of this month
and then cut back to 1cc twice a week the first two weeks in Feb.
(Two
weeks before drug test). I
can stay on it that close to testing time?
Then the remaining two weeks before testing, Take 5,000 IU's
of HCG every three days, and 100 mg of clomid every day until I am
tested? HCG and Clomid are not banned substances? And they will
bring my test ratio down in time to pass?
Sorry to bother you with this, but you impressed me with your
first response, and I just want to make sure I understand you
correctly. It's hard to
find good advice when you are a man in my position, with so much to
lose. I appreciate your
help, and your time spent giving it to me. I case it may help.
I am a 185 pound receiver.
Answer:
Yep, it’s a good thing you didn’t use the Winstrol, as it
has an embarrassing way of showing up on a drug test.
Just ask Ben Johnson or Shawn Ray, both of whom were caught
with stanazolol metabolites in their urine.
Ok,
if you carefully read my last post, you’ll see that I recommended
switching to a short acting testosterone preparation about two
months out, and using only 200 mg a week the fourth and third week
out from your drug test. Two
weeks prior to your test, you’re using HCG followed by clomid,
both of which are probably banned by the NFL, but neither of which
are detectable.
So,
why the HCG and clomid? Remember,
since testosterone is already present in your system normally, they
can’t simply test your urine and say, “Aha!
Testosterone metabolites, you’re busted!”.
The way an athlete is tested for use of testosterone is by
measuring their ratio of testosterone to epitestosterone.
Now, in a normal male, testosterone is produced on an equal
basis with epitestosterone, and the ratio is 1:1.
However, through a variety of legal maneuverings and court
battles, athletes have managed to get the threshold of a positive
pushed all the way to a 6:1 ratio.
While this is completely ludicrous, no natural athlete would
ever a ratio that out of whack, look at it as a gift.
A gift which will allow you to pursue football with renewed
strength and vigor.
The
following protocol is from Issue #22, November 25 in the Extreme
Q&A. Follow this
exactly and you won’t have any problems:
“Post
cycle, I’d recommend three weeks use of HCG, consisting of two
5,000 IU injections per week. HCG produces a biphasic response of
testosterone elevation, an initial peak in plasma testosterone
levels is seen about two hours after injection, followed by a second
peak 48-96 hours later. Because of this, athletes should inject HCG
every three days. Clomid should be used at 100 mg per day during and
1 week after this period to ensure normal testosterone production
after use of HCG.”
Two weeks out, you start the HCG.
Continue the HCG for one week after drug testing begins.
Then switch to the clomid.
Read the entire article in the aforementioned issue for an
explanation as to why.
Hey,
do I get some kind of jersey or something for this?
Please tell me you play for either the Giants or Ravens.
Superbowl tickets can be submitted to….
HOLY
SHIT! A GRAM A WEEK!!
Question:
I was just reading your Q&A page and let me get this straight,
for a first cycle I should use 1000 mg of sus instead of 500????????
HOLY SHIT MAN, I’m concerned with breaking plateaus here cause
it’s always been so easy for me to build back what was once there.
Remember, I’m 161 and want to be 200 tops and I don’t
compete, and don’t have any intentions of doing it. What do you
think?
Answer:
Before I answer this question, I think I should clarify my
position on anabolic steroids.
I believe that for any purpose other than hormone
replacement, steroids are inherently unhealthy.
Regardless of this individuals desire, or lack thereof, to
compete, he will still have to use steroids in a fashion that will
have a negative impact on his health, if only for a short period of
time.
Having
said that, my philosophy is to achieve your goals as expediently as
possible. The author of
the above email is lucky. If
he hits 200 lbs, he’s happy, game over. Sure he could take the approach that 1000 mg of sustanon a
week is simply too crazy, and stick with 500 mg per week. Why? The author
himself admits that it’s very easy for him to build back up to a
level of developments he’s already achieved.
I would add something to that.
It’s much easier to maintain a given level of development
than it is to build it in the first place.
So
why is 1 gm a week crazy, but 500 is not?
Natural testosterone production will cease at both doses.
Hair loss, gyncomastia, acne, and testicular atrophy will be
a problem at both doses. Admittedly,
the risk of incurring these side effects is increased at the higher
dose, but that’s why we spend so much time discussing accessory
drugs here on AE. If
you’re getting acne, see a dermatologist. Have plenty of clomid on hand to prevent gyno.
Take proscar and minoxidil if you’re worried about your
hair. And take HCG
periodically to keep your nuts from becoming chick-peas.
Consider
yourself lucky friend. Through
proper training, nutrition, supplementation, and drug use, you’ll
be weighing 200 lbs in no time at all.
And after that, the amount of drugs you’ll need to maintain
your condition will be negligible.
Keep us informed of your progress and good luck.
WHAT’S
THE BEST WAY TO USE FINAPLIX?
Question:
Your magazine (and others) have had articles that refer to "Finaplix
Kits", to dissolve and filter the pellets into an injectable
solution. Could you please list any known suppliers of these
kits? Also, could the pellets be dissolved in one of the
Pro-hormone Sprays, such as Ergopharm's Andro Spray, and applied to
the skin for transdermal absorption? If so, what percentage
(in your opinion) of the tren would be absorbed? If the
transdermal absorption rate could be enhanced somehow to be
anywhere near 50%, it would be still be a cost effective and much
safer option for administering this product. Welcome your
comments.

NOTE:
Again, I went straight to the guru himself on this one, and Pat
Arnold fields the question. Let
it never be said that Pat doesn’t tell it straight, even when
doing so doesn’t improve his position.]
Answer:
Now I have mixed feelings about everyone knowing how to use fina
easily cuz I don't want it to become harder to get, but here goes
anyway. My opinion on the kits is that they are a needless step.
The TA will dissolve from the pellets directly into hot
vegetable oil (with or without benzyl alcohol), as long as there is
sufficient stirring/agitation.
It’s
easier if the pellets are crushed into a powder, but even straight
they will eventually dissolve.
It takes a couple of hours and the oil should probably not be
heated higher than the boiling point of water (a container of the
pellets/oil placed in a steamer would therefore work well).
The TA will dissolve into the oil, and the excipients
(binders etc) will be suspended.
If you let it cool and sit then the binders will settle to
the bottom and the clear oil on top will be suitable for injection.
The
TA can be dissolved into DMSO, or Andro Spray, or alcohol etc. and
applied transdermally as an option.
Another option is just to crush them and eat them.
Believe it or not, trenbolone is very orally active and is
excreted as a conjugate of either unchanged trenbolone or the
17-epimer of trenbolone (meaning it is very resistant to metabolic
inactivation). Hey, it’s all in the scientific literature if you do not
believe me. The only
problem is that the half life is might not be very long, so you
might have to pop the stuff 4 times a day.
But the total absorption into the body will be higher taking
it orally than taking it transdermally so it might be worth it.
The injectable is still best of course.
[EDITORS
NOTE:
What? Taking trenbolone
orally actually works? I
have got to start reading something more than comic books my
friends, as this is a first for me.
Since I’m sure this is going to cause some major debate on
the boards, I’ll ask Pat for some scientific references.
And for those of you that are still hell-bent on buying a
kit, I believe you can find the information you’re looking for in
one of the earliest issues of AE in an article dealing with cattle
implants. Happy trails.]
