The Kitchen Chemist: Oral Preparations

There has been a major breakthrough for end-users of anabolic steroids, pure USP grade pharmaceutical powder is readily available for around 100 dollars per 5 grams. At first, only the orally bio-available steroids were for sale in this manner, but recently injectable drugs have been made available.

As these pure powders become increasingly available, many users are having difficulty figuring out what to do with them. Scan any bulletin board and you will hear everything from mix the powders into alcohol or snort them in lines. This article will explore how to prepare orally bio-available powders in a very straightforward manner. In a coming issue of Anabolic Extreme, I will guide you in the more complicated process of preparing the injectable powders. All right, lets begin. 
 

The Basics

Lets begin by going over some simple chemistry terms/concepts. If you have ever had a basic chemistry class, you will probably not need to read this section.

Suspension

A heterogeneous mixture in which solute-like particles settle out of solvent-like phase some time after their introduction.

That is the dictionary definition taken from an on-line chemistry dictionary. It means particulars floating in a medium that in time will fall to the bottom and form a layer there.

Many drugs come in suspension form; these have to be shaken up before you use them to ensure an equal distribution of active ingredient. If you have a vial of testosterone suspension or winstrol, you will notice a layer of sediment on the bottom. That is the drug; the rest of the vial contains only water or some other solvent. 


Solution

Homogeneous mixture of two or more substances.

Again, that is the official definition. It translates to mean when two substances dissolve into each other so that nothing will settle to the bottom and that the two or more substances are evenly distributed throughout the area. No matter how long you wait, you will not see the product settle into layers at normal temperature. Product can fall out of solution when temperatures fall because solution energy is lowered. 

An oil-based drug is a solution; look at the oil inside a vial of testosterone enthante.

Another general, and important, principle of chemistry is that “like dissolves like”; polar products dissolve in polar solutions for example. Water is polar and oil in non-polar which is why mayonnaise is such a freak of nature. This principle of solubility is the reason you cannot just dump your winstrol into cooking oil and get a clear injectable like the Sustanon ampoules you have.

The Options

With orally active drugs, you have several options to prepare the steroids for home consumption. These drugs include:

Oxymethelone (anadrol)

-The trade named drug, anadrol, comes in 50-milligram pills. Daily dosages are between 50-100-mgs.

Methandrostenolone (dianabol)

-Classically, this drug was available from Ciba in 5-mg pills. Recent manufacturers have stuck to this dosage seemingly out of traditional as almost no one takes just 5-mgs per day. Average daily dosages are between 20-50-mgs per day.

Stanazolol (winstrol)

-This drug was available in 2-mg tablets. The typical oral dosage was about 20-30 mgs per day. This is not enough at all and was mostly a side effect of low supply of the drug (that’s 10-15 pills per day). Thanks to mass-availability of powders you can now take an effective oral dosage with is identical to the injected dosage; 50-100-mgs per day.

Methyltestosterone (why would anyone take this damn drug?)

-In my opinion, this drug is a complete waste of time.

If you are wondering how to get these lovely goodies then you must have been living under a hole for the last few months. The main supplier (and only one people trust) has had his name plastered all over the Internet so much I cannot believe it. Since its been done so much already, what the hell, contact Getwood@hushmail.com as he is the powder-man. Now a quick word about our friend Getwood (or GW); he lives in a far away magical land where powders are legal. Unfortunately, it takes a while for his magic powder to get to us here in the land of the evil king DEA; therefore be patient. In the last year, Getwood had less then five packages intercepted because, frankly, his method of shipping is amazing. If you have an order, do not worry, it will get there.

Alright so the great day is here and you have your 5 grams of pure powder sitting on a piece of paper in front of you. Now what can you do?

 
Method 1: Cap’em

You could prepare this powder into pill-form. Now, unless you have an insane amount of money and machinery, I am not speaking about hard compressed pill form, I am speaking more accurately of capsules. The most important thing about making capsules at home is that you have an accurate scale; you need something that is accurate to the milligram. Scales like that are available online and will cost you about 300 dollars, but trust me, accuracy is important. You need to decide on how many milligrams each capsule will be; 50-milligrams is a good general idea but it should be tailored to your individual dosage level. As a matter of practicality, I do not think you will be measuring out 2-milligram winstrol capsules.

This method takes some time but purchasing a home capsule-making machine (available at health food stores which is the same place you can find empty capsules) will speed this up greatly. These home capsule-making machines cost around 15 dollars and will drastically speed up your time. All you have to do is measure out your dosage, put the powder into the pill using a paper funnel, and then push the capsule together. You should have no problem putting 50-milligrams of powder into a normal sized capsule.

I consider this method too time-consuming. 5 grams will make 100 50-milligram anadrol pills; that is going to take a few hours. Another drawback to this method is that it is crucial that you have a very accurate scale, which will cost you a few hundred bucks. If you think you will be making a lot of capsules this might be worth it to you, however. The next method gets around the scale issue in a very delightful way. 

 
Method 2: “Oh my God that tastes like ass”

Lets say you do not want to buy a scale or spend hours capping a few hundred pills. There is a simple method available (aren’t you happy). You can trust that the powder in front of you weighs close to 5 grams (and a cheap scale can tell you that). Therefore, all you need to do is a figure out a desired single dosage. I recommend you do multiples of 25, with 50 being my pick. Lets say you want to take the equivalent of 1 anadrol per day (50mg oxymethelone). You would convert 5 grams into milligrams (5000) and then divide by your single dosage (100). This is the number of milliliters of solvent you need. Now solvent can be almost anything since we are making suspensions and not solutions; some people use propylene glycol (available here) and others use grain alcohol. Since you are only going to be ingesting a milliliter, I do not really have a problem with people using grain alcohol.

Now measure out the number of milliliters of solvent you need in a graduated measuring device (you should be able to get one at a cooking supply shop) and pour the solvent into a holding container; a stoppered glass bottle or test tube is ideal. Add in your powder and shake. Now remember that dosage you figured out, each milliliter of solvent in that bottle is one dose. By the way, 1-cc equals 1-milliliter, so all you needle-users out there can easily measure out your daily dosage. Be sure to shake up the bottle before drawing up your dosage; this will make sure the steroid is suspended in the medium.

Now you have several choices. You can squirt this down your throat (remove the needle first, moron) and gag on the vile taste. There is nothing particularly wrong with this option, it just tastes bad (which is what I have to tell my girlfriend all the time….ok…fine you caught me…I don’t have a girlfriend, I tell the prostitutes that and they make me pay them more….oh god….I have no life…) A more elegant option is to get a few gel-filled capsules and using your trusty syringe pull out the content of the gel cap (vitamin E caps work well). Now inject your suspension into the recently vacated gel cap and swallow.  

I know this all seems easy; but there has been a lot of confusion about how to do this. I hope that this article has clarified some of these points. In a coming issue of Anabolic Extreme I will delve into how to make injectable versions of your favorite powders like testosterone propionate and Nandrolone.
